It is resistant to alkali corrosion at temperatures between 60~90°C and also to corrosion from chlorine and hypochlorous acid (HCLO). The material cost is moderate, fully meeting the usage requirements of the chlor-alkali industry.

Chlor-Alkali Plant 73 Specification CPVC Taylor Ring, the material of the CPVC Taylor Ring filling is made from modified raw materials. CPVC is a saturated resin with a high chlorine content, containing 62~68% chlorine. We mix the CPVC powder with 5-8% of LH modifier, process it into granules at temperatures of 110-200°C, and then mold it to achieve high thermal stability, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance.

CPVC ring packings, also known as Taylor ring packings or plum blossom ring packings, come in two types: plum blossom A and plum blossom. These products are primarily used in the membrane alkali process, where they must withstand the corrosion of hot alkali, chlorine, and hypochlorite at temperatures above 60~90°C. General metal and ceramic packings are not resistant to hot alkali corrosion, leading to clogging and poor separation efficiency in tower equipment, necessitating frequent replacements. Standard plastic packings are also susceptible to corrosion by chlorine and HClO. Abroad, most use polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride plastic packings, but these materials are quite expensive and not suitable for injection molding.

(1). CPVC Ring for Water Washed Cooling Towers. Medium: Wet Chlorine, Wet Chlorine; Temperature: ≤90℃; Pressure: -100~0mmH2O Column.
(2). CPVC Collar for Demolition Tower. Medium: Chlorine; 18~20% caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite; Temperature: ≤70℃; Pressure: -300~200mmH2O gauge.
(3). CPVC ring for dechlorination tower. Medium: Wet chlorine water, brackish water (containing 190~210g/L); Temperature: ≤90℃; Pressure: -4200mmH2O column.
(4). CPVC ring is suitable for temperatures below 60°C of operation. Medium: Chlorine, concentration of 78% to 98%, pressure: dry sections at -150mmH2O column.
