Butyl foil waterproof tapeT700
Aluminum foil butyl waterproof tape is formed by using enhanced aluminum foil, forged through special processes, as the backing material. It is created by applying a layer of custom outdoor high-adhesive butyl rubber adhesive, followed by a layer of anti-adhesive separator film.
The aluminum foil itself is silvery white, offering reflective and UV-resistant properties. Moreover, the foil, after special forging, possesses flexibility and elasticity, serving as the first line of protection for pipes exposed to the atmosphere for extended periods.
The adhesive layer of the aluminum box tape ensures a tighter bond between the tape and the tube, as well as between strips of tape, effectively preventing water and air intrusion. This provides effective protection for the pipeline.
Due to the outdoor pipeline's need to accommodate the unpredictable weather and temperature changes in the atmosphere, this places higher demands on the performance of aluminum foil tape. Through testing and years of application, the aluminum foil tape remains intact without cracking, the joints do not leak, it does not peel off from the pipe, and it adapts to the pipeline's thermal expansion and contraction.
This product is primarily used for external anti-corrosion of overhead pipelines and steel structures in the oil, petrochemical, chemical, water supply, municipal, gas, and electricity industries. It is also suitable for waterproofing wall and roof cracks in steel sheeting factory buildings. It offers excellent waterproofing and leakage repair effects, strong adhesion, and good waterproof performance.
