Honeycomb pipeCompared to reinforced concrete pipe culverts, it boasts advantages such as thin pipe sections, lightweight, easy transportation and storage, simple construction techniques, rapid assembly, and a short construction period.
During the construction of corrugated pipes, they can be assembled to any desired length as needed. Sections can be disassembled and relocated for construction elsewhere if necessary. In areas lacking sand and stone materials or with low soil bearing capacity, the advantages of corrugated pipe culverts are even more pronounced.
Corrugated pipe culverts have long been widely used in foreign highway, railway, and building projects. Some developed countries not only have factories manufacturing corrugated pipe sections but also have issued design and construction specifications or codes for these culverts. Before liberation, the road and railway departments in our country also used imported corrugated pipe sections. Currently, China has factories specializing in the production of corrugated pipe culverts. Given the many advantages of these culverts, the prospects for their application and promotion in China are very promising.
