Honeycomb pipeCompared to reinforced concrete pipe culverts, it boasts advantages such as thinner pipe sections, lighter weight, ease of transportation and storage, simple construction techniques, rapid assembly, and shorter project duration.
During the construction of corrugated pipes, they can be assembled to any desired length as needed. In case of necessity, the pipe sections can be disassembled and moved to another location for construction. The superiority of corrugated pipe culverts is particularly evident in areas lacking sand and stone materials or where the soil bearing capacity is low.
Bellows culverts have long been widely used in foreign highway, railway, and residential construction projects. Some developed countries not only have factories manufacturing bellows sections but also have issued design and construction standards or codes for bellows culverts. Before liberation, China's highway and railway departments also used imported bellows pipe sections from abroad. Currently, China has specialized factories producing bellows culverts. Given the many advantages of these culverts, the prospect for their application and promotion in China is very promising.
