The purpose of waterproofing is primarily to prevent water leakage affecting the neighbors below when using running water in your own home. Therefore, if your roof leaks or渗漏, applying waterproofing to your own ceiling is ineffective; it must be done on the ground level of your upper neighbor to be effective. Residents on the first floor, although not required to waterproof, can still benefit from moisture and humidity prevention. General waterproofing methods include: leveling the existing floor with cement mortar, then drying it (not damp), applying a 3-coat system of two-component polyurethane waterproof coating, or using modified asphalt or glass fiber mesh for a two-oil-one-fabric treatment. The requirement is to waterproof the bathroom walls to a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and the kitchen to at least 0.5 meters. For balconies, the height should match the exterior window sill. After drying, perform a water-tightness test, and only proceed with the floor work after confirming no leaks. If the existing floor or walls are damaged, waterproofing treatment and a water-tightness test are mandatory.
Waterproofing and Leak Sealing Ultra-Early Strength Paste
1. New ultra-early strength self-leveling cement-based grouting material, a cementitious material with adjustable setting time, features ultra-early strength, high strength, slight expansion, self-compaction, self-leveling, good groutability, and simple construction. This product is in a powdered form, easy to use, requiring only to mix with water in a cement ratio of 0.35 to 0.45, and after thorough mixing, it is ready for use. No vibration is needed after grouting.

This product is particularly suitable for emergency repair projects, such as the rail bed treatment project (without affecting train operations), the grouting and leakage prevention project for the Qinghai Dasan Mountain Highway Tunnel at an altitude of 3800m (high cold area), the Bai Mountain Tunnel in Yunnan, and the Taijing Tunnel of the Shanghai Railway Bureau, among more than a dozen tunnels. It has been successfully applied. In the rapid repair of the 4th blast furnace at the Wuhan Iron and Steel Plant, the ultra-early strength grouting material formulated with ultra-early strength self-leveling concrete achieved a concrete strength of over c30 within 6 hours, yielding excellent application results. It saved repair time and reduced the significant losses associated with production downtime.
3. Construction Method:
Drilling: The principle of hole layout is to start with sparse and then dense, insert mid-position holes, and clean the sediment and silt inside the holes thoroughly using an air compressor. The drilling process can reveal the connectivity between hole positions, thereby determining the grouting holes and ventilation holes.
b. Grouting: Prior to grouting, a water injection test should be conducted to check if the holes are clear. Then, the super-early-strength self-leveling cementitious grouting material should be mixed at a ratio of 1:0.4 using a mixer. After preparing the slurry, it should be placed in a slurry storage tank and pumped through pipelines using a pressure pump to the work surface for pressure grouting. The grouting process should be adjusted according to the slurry's setting time to ensure the stone-like strength.
4. Cautionary Notes:
a. Products should be used under stable conditions of 16℃~28℃; there will be significant changes in the condensation time at other temperatures. Therefore, when users adopt the product, they should be informed accordingly. We will provide products suitable for low or high temperatures.
b. Products should be stored in a dry environment, and they should be tested and approved before use after the shelf life of 6 months.
