Welding Process

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, leaks, continuous pores, burrs, etc., with smooth and even welds, no unevenness or undulations, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Electrical Door

a. The electrical door is cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and light housing are seamlessly integrated, with no welded projections at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Features reasonable operating space; electrical installation accessories included inside the door.

d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1mm, and it should have excellent waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system and excellent anti-theft features, the fixed bolts are opened using a non-standard, proprietary tool.

f. Electrical doors should have high interchangeability, with a reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electrical door accessories.

g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt, visible to the left and below the work door on the pole, is hot-dipped galvanized along with the pole for connecting the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The inner and outer surfaces should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent corrosion, with a thickness of ≥75um meeting the GB/T13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should not be less than 30 years. The galvanized surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. After hammering tests, there should be no peeling or flaking. A galvanizing inspection report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Process

Outdoor high-purity polyester powder coating should be used, with the color being white (subject to customer requirements). The plastic layer maintains stable quality, resists fading and peeling. It has strong adhesion, is resistant to intense sunlight and UV rays, suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design lifespan exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, compliant with ASTM D3359-83 standards. A spray coating inspection report is provided. Protective requirements for spray coating: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking or peeling. The surface is flat and smooth with consistent color.

5. Design Capabilities

a. Provide a rod stress calculation based on the lighting pole design drawing, according to the required wind speed tolerance.

b. The molding square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards in terms of strength and surface structure.

Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.

6. Verticality Inspection

After the lamp post is standing upright, a theodolite is used to check the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.

7. Rod appearance

The design and dimensions meet requirements, with an overall aesthetic and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and consistent, with even coloration. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, and the plastic coating has strong adhesion without peeling.

All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).

9. The cable routing channel inside the pole is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free from sharp edges, burrs, teeth, or similar features to prevent damage to the cable.

10. The lamp post meets lightning protection and grounding requirements, with an environmental temperature of -15 to 50 degrees Celsius, wind speed of 60 m/s, seismic resistance of 8 levels, and corrosion resistance of 30 years.

Categories and Application Scope:

Monitored poles, also known as camera lighting poles, are typically categorized into Y-type, T-type, and R-type. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape on large bending machines, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanized corrosion protection and plastic coating, suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal posts and sign posts shall be composed of a vertical pole, connecting flange, shaped support arm, mounting flange, and pre-buried steel structure.

2. The upright or transverse brace is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright and transverse brace uses steel pipe identical to the transverse arm, with a reinforcing plate for welding protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-b埋 bolt, with a reinforcing plate for welding protection; the connection method of the transverse brace to the upright end uses a flange connection, with a reinforcing plate for welding protection.

3. All welds on the uprights and their main components must meet standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface, ensuring flat, smooth, and reliable welding without any defects such as pores, slag, cold joints, or open joints.

4. The uprights and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-powered metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The upright poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.

6. Wind resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.

7. Surface Treatment: Pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dipped galvanized and powder coating.
