Welding Technique
The entire rod should be free from any cracks, leaks, continuous pores, edge burrs, etc., with smooth and flat welds, no unevenness, no weld defects, and a welding flaw detection report must be provided.
2. Appliance Door
a. Electric doors are cut using plasma cutting.
b. The electrical door and light body are seamlessly integrated, without a welded projection at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.
c. Features reasonable operating space; includes electrical installation accessories within the door.
d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1 millimeter, and it should have excellent waterproof performance.
e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system and excellent anti-theft features, the fixed bolts require a non-standard tool for opening.
f. Electrical doors should have high interchangeability, with a reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electrical door accessories.
g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt is visible in the lower left corner inside the lamp post access door, which is hot-dipped galvanized along with the lamp post for connecting the cable's PE wire.
3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process
The inner and outer surfaces should be treated with hot-dipped acid to prevent corrosion, with a thickness of ≥75um in compliance with GB—/T13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should be no less than 30 years. The galvanized surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. After hammering tests, it should not peel or flake off. A galvanized testing report is provided.
4. Powder Coating Process
Outdoor high-purity polyester powder coating should be used, with the color being white (subject to customer requirements). The plastic layer maintains stable quality, does not fade or peel off. It has strong adhesion, resists intense sunlight UV rays, and is suitable for lakefront cities and key saline areas. The designed lifespan exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, compliant with ASTM D3359-83 standard. A powder coating inspection report is provided. Protective requirements for powder coating: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking, and no peeling. The surface is flat and smooth with consistent coloration.
5. Design Capabilities
a. Provide a load calculation manual for the pole according to the design drawing of the lamp post, as per the required wind speed tolerance.
b. The extruded square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards in terms of strength and surface structure.
C. Seal the lamp post to prevent water and vapor from entering.
6. Verticality Inspection
After the lamp post is erected by the street light manufacturer, a theodolite is used to check the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.
7. Rod appearance
The design and dimensions meet requirements, with an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and uniform in color. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, and the powder coating has strong adhesion without peeling off.
All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).
9. The cable conduit inside the pole is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free from sharp edges, burrs, teeth, and similar conditions to prevent damage to the cable lines.
10. Poles meet lightning protection and grounding requirements; environmental temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8; corrosion resistance: 30 years.
Categories and Applicability Range:
Monitored poles, also known as camera light poles, are typically categorized into Y, T, and R types. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape on large bending machines, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanizing for corrosion resistance and then coated with plastic. They are suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.
1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal posts and sign posts shall consist of upright posts, connecting flanges, shaped support arms, mounting flanges, and pre-buried steel structures.

3. All welds on the upright and its main components must meet the standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface, ensuring flat, smooth, and solid welding that is reliable, free of voids, slag, cold joints, and incomplete welds.
4. The upright poles and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral structure, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.
5. The poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance ≤ 10 ohms.
6. Wind Resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.
7. Surface Treatment: Pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dip galvanizing and spray painting.
