When performing pressure pipe opening and sealing, for the operation, we also need to adhere to the following 4 points in our actual operations. Let's take a look together!
When performing pressure-sealed hole plugging, if it's necessary to dismantle equipment above the sandwich panels, first release the air inside the guest cavity to lower the pressure.
2. Before opening the sandwich plate, the pressure on both sides should be balanced. Before removing the sealing plug, the pressure on both sides of the sealing plug should be balanced.
Prior to drilling, a comprehensive pressure test should be conducted on the pipe fittings welded to the pipeline and valves, drilling machines, and other components assembled onto the pipeline. The test pressure must not exceed the pressure inside the pipe during operation.
4. After completion of the work, it should be confirmed that there is no leakage in the piping components, and the piping components and pipes should be insulated and anticorrosive treated. The anticorrosive coating grade should not be lower than that of the original pipeline anticorrosive coating.
Employees should perform pressure-vessel piercing and sealing operations in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures. During the operation, they must adhere to the aforementioned points and pay attention to some details to avoid improper operations that may affect the progress of the work or pose adverse effects on the safety of the staff.
