SUS304N2 stainless steel (18Cr-8Ni-N-Nb), a Japanese SUS series austenitic stainless steel, is enhanced with N and Nb in the SUS304 composition, improving strength while inhibiting the decline in elongation properties, and has the effect of reducing material thickness, similar to SUS304N1. SUS304N2 stainless steel is used in the same applications as 304N1 steel.
