The metal wire mesh corrugated packing has a large specific surface area, high porosity, and light weight; it features small gas phase passage angles, regularity, and low pressure drop; good radial diffusion, complete gas contact, almost no low load limit, and high operating flexibility. It is suitable for atmospheric and vacuum distillation of difficult-to-separate and thermosensitive systems.
