The bi-conical dryer consists of a bi-conical rotating drum. Inside the drum, under vacuum conditions, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket for heating. Heat is transferred to the wet material through the inner wall of the drum. The evaporated steam from the heated wet material is then removed by a vacuum pump through a vacuum exhaust pipe. Due to the vacuum state inside the drum and the rotation of the drum, which continuously flips the material up and down, inside and out, the drying speed of the material is accelerated, the drying efficiency is improved, and uniform drying is achieved.
Features
Fast drying speed, typically only a few to a dozen seconds, with instant drying characteristics. The temperature of the droplets during the drying process is relatively low, particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials, while maintaining the color, fragrance, and taste of the material. To prevent sticking on the walls of the drying tower, this device is equipped with a special structure, effectively eliminating the sticking phenomenon of the product. The unique finished product air conveying system promptly separates the dried product from the hot and humid air within the system, avoiding the possibility of moisture absorption or caking in the dried product. Under vacuum, the boiling point of the material solution is reduced, increasing the heat transfer driving force of the evaporator, thereby saving the heat transfer area of the evaporator for a certain heat transfer amount; the heat source for the evaporation operation can be low-pressure steam or hot steam; the evaporator has minimal heat loss. Disinfection can be carried out before drying, ensuring no impurities are mixed during the drying process, meeting GMP requirements; the condenser can effectively recover solvents from the material.
