Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pipes are lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant non-metallic pipes. They are made by winding glass fibers with a resin matrix around a rotating mandrel in layers, and quartz sand is evenly laid between the fibers as a sand-laying layer.
