SP-Radiation-Resistant Floor Paint
Product Code: SP-1106
Product Introduction:

Radiation-resistant floor coating is a modified amine-cured modified epoxy paint that contains pigments and fillers capable of absorbing radiation. The cured film boasts excellent radiation resistance and the ability to absorb gamma-ray radiation. It has passed radiation and decontamination tests with an accumulated radiation dose of 8.5×10^5 GY, as tested by CIAE (China Institute of Atomic Energy) and BINE (Beijing Institute of Nuclear Engineering). It meets the PIA/PIB/PID system requirements and performs well on concrete substrates.
Application Range:
Nuclear power plant exterior buildings, workshops, warehouses, etc., require cement or terrazzo flooring that is resistant to nuclear radiation and easy to decontaminate from radioactive pollution; cement or terrazzo flooring for facilities with radiation hazards such as civil defense projects, isotope laboratories, CT rooms, X-ray rooms, and computer rooms.

Note: 1. The above technical specifications are measured under standard conditions (25°C, 60% humidity) for reference only.
2. Drying speed varies significantly with different temperatures and humidity, and is also affected by factors such as the film thickness, ventilation conditions, and underlying paint. Generally, as temperature increases, drying time decreases; conversely, as temperature decreases, drying time extends.
● Installation Instructions:
Mixed: A component to B component = 3:1, mix thoroughly and evenly after blending.
Apply at temperatures between 5-35°C, with the substrate temperature at least 5°C above the dew point of the air, and relative humidity < 80%. Otherwise, construction is prohibited.
Ø Usable Time: 40 min (50 min after being poured on the ground); the higher the temperature, the shorter the usable period after mixing.
Theoretical Consumption: 0.77 kg/m2/mm (Consumption is for reference only; actual consumption in specific projects may vary due to ground conditions, environmental factors, construction techniques, and color, etc. Please refer to on-site measurements for assessment.)
Application Method: Apply with a notched trowel.
Ø Diluent: Not required.
Detergent: SP-8302 Diluent II
The recoating interval: The next coating process can only be carried out after confirming that the coating has completely dried, usually with a 24-hour interval under standard environmental conditions (25°C, 60%RH).
Drying Time: Surface dry in 6 hours; fully dry in 48 hours; completely cured in 7 days.
