Protective Face Probe
A protective face probe is a single crystal longitudinal wave contact probe that can be fitted with delay blocks, protective foils, or protective anti-abrasion caps.
Advantages and Features:
By offering detachable delay blocks, protective anti-abrasion caps, and protective films, the probe is made versatile for a wide range of applications.
When used alone (without any options), the epoxy wear-resistant surface offers a high-quality acoustic impedance match with plastic, various composite materials, and other low-impedance materials.
The housing features threads, facilitating the installation of delay blocks, protective films, and abrasion-resistant caps.

Standard protection face
The design of the comfortable sleeve is to facilitate easy gripping and secure handling of the probe while wearing gloves.
Standard connector style is right-angle BNC (RB), flat BNC (SB) also available
Delay blocks, protective films, and wear-resistant caps are sold separately from the probe.

Recommended Usage Cycle: The longest contact time is 10 seconds, followed by 1 minute of cooling in the air. However, the probe's heating temperature should not exceed 50°C.
X = Standard delay block length, available in the following sizes: 13mm, 25mm, 38mm. Please specify detailed requirements when placing an order.
Note: For the aforementioned delay blocks, the longitudinal sound velocity of room temperature material, 0.100 in/µsec ± 0.005 in/µsec, can be used as an approximate value for basic calculations. This value should not be used for engineering design calculations.
Protective Film Options

Enhanced coupling efficiency on rough and uneven surfaces
For smooth and clean surfaces, a dry coupling method can be used.
