MS 5800U — Utilizes an integrated rotation detection system (IRIS) for inspecting ferrous and non-ferrous tube materials

Boiler
Water Heater
Air cooler
Heat Exchanger
The Ultrasonic IRIS option is used for detecting various materials, including ferrous, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials. This technology detects and quantifies wall thinning due to corrosion, erosion, wear, pitting, cracks, and baffle cutouts. Olympus' digital IRIS inspection technology, a validated technique, is widely applied in far-field, magnetic flux leakage, and eddy current testing.

Key Features of MultiScan MS 5800U (IRIS)

IRIS Setup Wizard
For tubes of various diameters and materials, the wizard simplifies the calibration process of the detection equipment. The wizard also generates report codes for each inspection.
Real-time gain and gate control
During the C scan data collection process, the UT settings can be adjusted to quickly optimize the signal detection performance.
Real-time, continuous full-color C-scan
By utilizing C-scan imaging, the error of missing defects is reduced. The inclusion of color images and cross-sectional views of defects in the report enhances its quality and readability.
Complete Pipe Material Full Length Inspection Record
Used for analyzing data and evaluating results offline, together with clients.
