Two probe interfaces
All NORTEC 600 models come equipped with a standard LEMO 16-pin universal interface and a BNC interface for the probe. Users simply select the appropriate interface on the instrument's interface. When the BNC interface is connected, the instrument features automatic internal balancing, eliminating the need for cumbersome manual balancing operations.
16-pin LEMO interface also supports PowerNORTEC technology, featuring automatic probe recognition and instrument preset functionality, allows for quicker instrument setup.
Compatible with the current testing procedures and those of other manufacturers.

To simplify testing procedures, the NORTEC 600 includes all conventional patterns and layouts used in existing NORTEC specific testing programs, as well as those utilized by many other equipment manufacturers. The NORTEC 600 kit features standard impedance graph views, sweep modes (band graphs), split-screen display, adjustable balance points, crosshairs, enhanced filter response, reference signal display, and numerous other useful functions.
The NORTEC 600 accessories include various cables and adapters, such as 12-pin LEMO and 11-pin Fischer types, allowing compatibility with many other probe and rotary scanner manufacturers' products. Appropriate adapter or scanner cables enable operators to leverage all the superior performance of the NORTEC 600 instrument using only the existing probes, without the need to invest heavily in additional probes or accessories.

Intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface
Combining high efficiency with simplicity
Olympus aimed to create a near-perfect interface that combines simplicity, efficiency, and intuitiveness while developing the user interface for the NORTEC 600 instrument. The result is a completely redesigned browsing system that significantly reduces the learning curve while maintaining high productivity during the detection process, even for operators with no experience.
All the enhanced features of this redesigned user interface are presented in over 15 languages.
Application selection and all settings
To meet customer needs, the newly designed application selection menu of the NORTEC 600 features pre-defined manufacturer settings that save signal calibration time.
The instrument also features a new all settings page, which displays all parameters on the screen at once, allowing users to quickly configure the instrument to meet the requirements of a specific program.
Signal Calibration in Freeze Mode
The innovative feature of NORTEC 600 allows operators to focus on the probe's movement to ensure a satisfactory scan. Then, under the frozen signal mode, users can adjust the gain and phase angle.
