Biaxial probe
Two crystals placed at an angle to each other can create a V-shaped sound path within the material being tested. This "pseudo-focusing" enhances the resolution of the focal area. The two crystals of the dual crystal probe are mounted within a single housing, separated by a sound-insulating barrier. One crystal emits longitudinal waves, while the other acts as a receiver to capture the echoes.
Advantages:
Enhanced near-surface resolution
Eliminated the need for double delay blocks in high-temperature applications
Excellent coupling effect on rough or curved surfaces
Reduced direct backscatter noise in coarse-grained or scattering materials
Combined with the penetration ability of low-frequency single crystal probes and the near-surface resolution of high-frequency single crystal probes
Can be tightly adhered to curved workpieces
Application:
Remaining Wall Thickness Measurement
Corrosion/Erosion Monitoring
Weld Seam Cover and Surfacing Coating Adhesion/Peeling Detection
Detect porosity, inclusions, cracks, and delamination in castings and forgings.
Inspect cracks in bolts or other cylindrical components
Probes with frequencies equal to or less than 5.0 MHz can withstand temperatures up to 425°C; probes with frequencies of 7.5 MHz and 10 MHz can withstand temperatures up to 175°C. For workpieces with surface temperatures ranging from 90°C to 425°C, it is recommended to have a working cycle of no more than 10 seconds of contact, followed by at least 1 minute of cooling in air (not applicable to microtip crystal probes).

Dual crystal probe with identical head shell
Metal wear-resistant ring extends the probe's lifespan.
When surface treatment is required on the probe face, provide wear indication reference information
Roll grooved, 303 stainless steel housing
Design for replaceable cables (special dual cables with stress relief devices available)
