Waspaloy is a time-tempered nickel-based superalloy with exceptional mechanical properties below 980°C (1800°F). Other features of Waspaloy include excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, suitable for service in extreme environments.

Waspaloy round bar performance:
Waspaloy alloy maintains good strength values and excellent oxidation resistance within the temperature range of 760-870℃ (1400-1600℉), suitable for service in gas turbine engine environments up to 870℃ (1600℉). Within the temperature range of 620-650℃ (1150-1200℉), the creep-rupture strength of Waspaloy is significantly better than that of 718 alloy. Its short-term tensile strength below 730°C (1350°F) is inferior to RA718.
