An demister is a crucial gas-liquid separation device widely used in industrial production and environmental protection industries. Glass fiber demisters, with their fast separation rate, low pressure drop, high allowable air velocity, and strong anti-blocking function, have become an urgent issue to be addressed in industrial production. When gas containing mist flows through the demister at a certain speed, the mist droplets collide with the corrugated plate due to the inertial impact of the gas and adhere to the surface of the corrugated plate.
Sheet thickness: 2.5-3mm, height: 170mm, 235mm; temperature resistance: about 120-150 degrees.
Form: Two-channel, Three-channel.
Spacing: 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm
Demisters are used to separate liquid droplets carried by the gas in the tower, ensuring mass transfer efficiency, reducing valuable material loss, and improving the operation of the compressor after the tower. They are generally installed at the top of the tower. They can effectively remove mist droplets between 3-5 micrometers. If a demister is installed between the trays, it not only ensures the mass transfer efficiency of the trays but also reduces the spacing between the plates. Therefore, demisters are mainly used for gas-liquid separation. They can also be used as air filters for gas separation. Additionally, mesh can serve as a buffer for various instruments in the instrument industry, as well as electronic shielding devices to prevent electromagnetic interference.
