Demister is a crucial gas-liquid separation device widely used in industrial production and environmental protection industries. The fiberglass demister, with its fast separation rate, low pressure drop, high allowable airflow speed, and strong anti-blocking function, has become an urgent problem to be solved in industrial production. When the gas containing mist flows through the demister at a certain speed, the mist droplets collide with the corrugated plate due to the inertial impact of the gas and adhere to the surface of the corrugated plate.
Sheet thickness: 2.5-3mm, height: 170mm, 235mm; temperature resistance: about 120-150 degrees.
Form: Two-channel, Three-channel.
Pitch: 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm
Demisters are used to separate liquid droplets carried by gas in towers to ensure mass transfer efficiency, reduce valuable material loss, and improve the operation of the compressor after the tower. They are generally installed at the top of the tower. They can effectively remove mist droplets of 3-5 micrometers. If a demister is set between the trays, it not only ensures the mass transfer efficiency of the trays but also reduces the spacing between the plates. Therefore, demisters are mainly used for gas-liquid separation. They can also be used as air filters for gas separation. Additionally, mesh can serve as a buffer for various instruments in the instrument industry, as well as electronic shielding devices to prevent electromagnetic interference.
