Simple Start-up Steps for Gasoline Generators:
Turn the fuel switch to the "ON" position and open the throttle.
Turn off the carburetor choke when starting the cold engine (do not close the choke when restarting a hot engine that has been stopped for a short period; to prevent too much fuel from causing difficulty in starting).
Turn the carburetor throttle slightly smaller; set the gasoline engine ignition switch to the "ON" position.
Manual pull cord start or key electronic ignition start
Open the air dam after starting.
Generator runs for 3-5 minutes, then connects to power with load!
