The purpose of a pump is to transport water from one place to another, or to increase pressure, converting the mechanical energy of the prime mover into fluid energy.
Pump Working Principle: After the pump is turned on, the impeller rotates at high speed within the pump body (the pump body must be filled with liquid before turning on the pump), causing the liquid inside to rotate along with the impeller. Under the force of centrifugal force, the liquid is ejected from the outlet by the impeller. As the ejected liquid slows down in the diffuser chamber of the pump body, a vacuum low-pressure area forms at the center of the impeller. Under the influence of the external atmospheric pressure, the liquid from the pool is drawn into the pump through the suction pipe.
The volume of the pump housing diffuser is fixed; as the amount of liquid being ejected increases, the pressure also gradually rises, and it is then discharged from the pump's outlet.
The liquid is continuously drawn from the pond and then continuously discharged from the pump outlet.
