High-performance moisture-proof sealing material specifically designed for outdoor transformer terminal boxes, mechanism operation boxes, electric knife switch boxes, high and low voltage switch cabinets, control unit cabinets, outdoor ring main units, and other similar enclosures. This eco-friendly sealant boasts low viscosity, good fluidity, and easy penetration, effectively preventing small animals from entering the enclosed cabinets from the ground, thereby reducing safety hazards. It achieves internal cabinet sealing and moisture-proofing, preventing moist air from cable trays or channels from渗入柜内, providing a robust protective barrier for production and operation equipment.
● Process Used:
1. First, budget the material quantities. The density of the high polymer moisture-proof sealing agent is between 1.15-1.18, with a thickness of generally 0.8-1 cm, and the consumption per square meter is around 11 kg.
2. Ensure proper sealing of the box body to prevent sealant from leaking out, avoiding waste; typically, use silver electrical tape or fireproof putty to seal any leaks, then neatly organize any excess wiring with tape.
3. Stir Agent A with a flashlight for 20-30 seconds to prevent settling, then add Agent B to mix and stir for about 60 seconds. Apply to the target area. The standard operation time for the sealing agent is 20-30 minutes (adjustable) and can self-level. If the cabinet area is large, you can also use a trowel or brush to accelerate the spreading speed of the sealing agent.
4. Allow the sealant to cure and shape, with an initial curing and shaping time of 1.5-2 hours, and a complete curing and shaping time of 24 hours.
PS: Please ensure that all leak points are sealed properly during construction to avoid wasting sealing agent materials. Due to the impact of environmental temperature and humidity on the operation time of the sealing agent, it is recommended to conduct a small test before use. To extend the operation time, adjust the ratio of Agent B to 10:0.8, but not below 0.7 (try to keep the ratio of Agent B below 1, as adding too much will accelerate the reaction time between Agents A and B, reducing fluidity), to prevent affecting the curing effect.
● Cautionary Notes:
1. The rubber compound should be stored in a sealed container. Mixed rubber compound should be used up in one go to avoid waste.
2. This product is non-hazardous, but do not ingest or get in eyes. In case of accidental ingestion or contact with eyes, rinse with clean water immediately or seek medical attention nearby.
3. After storage for a period, the colloidal suspension may settle. Please stir thoroughly before use; it will not affect performance.
● Packaging Specifications:
5.5 Kg/set (A Component: 5 Kg + B Component: 0.5 Kg)
220 lbs/set (A Component 200 lbs + B Component 20 lbs)
Packaging available as required.
● Storage and Transportation:
High molecular weight sealing material has a storage period of six months (below 25°C). It is hereby declared that the company assumes no liability for any use of the product after the expiration date. Please use the product promptly after purchase.
2. These products are non-hazardous and can be transported as general chemicals.
3. After using the B Agent, it is essential to seal and store it properly. The adhesive components inside can hydrolyze and form precipitates upon contact with air, which may affect the bonding performance.
