I. Product Featuresand applications
F-N840 silicone gel is a low-viscosity, sticky gel-like transparent two-component addition curing silicone gel that can cure at room temperature or by heating, with the characteristic that the higher the temperature, the faster the curing. It does not produce any by-products during the curing reaction and can be applied to the surfaces of materials such as PC (Polycarbonate), PP, ABS, PVC, and metals. It is suitable for electrical component insulation, waterproofing, and fixation. Fully complies with the EU ROHS directive requirements.
Typical Applications
High-efficiency Filter Aluminum Channel Potting
Precision electronic component packaging
High transparency and recovery requirements for potting protection of module power supplies and printed circuit boards
- Elastic silicone products manufacturing
- Manufacturing low-hardness silicone products such as chest stickers, insoles, and shoulder pads.
Section 3: Process of Use:
1. Prior to mixing, ensure that A component and B component are thoroughly blended within their respective containers.
2. Mix in a 1:1 weight ratio of Component A to Component B.
3. The F-N840 can be degassed as needed. Simply mix A and B solutions thoroughly, then place them in a vacuum container and degas for 5 minutes at 0.08 MPa before pouring for use.
4. Maintain the corresponding curing time above the temperature specified in the technical parameters table before and after curing. If the applied thickness is thick, the curing time may exceed. Both room temperature and heated curing are acceptable. The curing speed of the adhesive is affected by the curing temperature; it takes a long time to cure in winter, so it is recommended to use heated curing. Cure for 20 minutes at 80-100°C, and it usually takes about 8 hours to cure at room temperature.
!! The following substances may hinder the curing of this product or cause it to remain uncured. Therefore, apply after conducting a simple test for verification, and clean the application area if necessary.
Not fully solidified condensate silicone
Amine-cured epoxy resin
Lead-free soldering flux treatment
