Hastelloy wire mesh is ultra-low carbon.Ni, Mo, Cr series nickel-based, corrosion-resistant,High-temperature-resistant materialsHastelloy(Hastelloy), for its robustnessFewerExcellent high-temperature performance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance in the weld-affected area, good long-term thermal stability and machinability, widely used in stringent industrial environments such as agricultural chemicals, nuclear facilities, and biomedicine. It also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, uniform corrosion resistance, and intergranular corrosion resistance in media such as wet oxygen, sulfite, acetic acid, formic acid, and strong oxidizing salts, thus widely applied in the chemical industry. The electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of Hastelloy are much lower than that of low-carbon steel, while the resistivity and expansion rate are much higher. The molten pool fluidity is poor, wettability is poor, penetration is low, and the depth of melt is shallow. Common Grades: Haste AlloyC-276, B-2, etc.
Hastelloy grades include the following grades:
HASTELLOY B-2 nickel-molybdenum alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments. HASTELLOY B-3 is an upgraded version of B-2, boasting excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration.
HASTELLOY C-4 offers excellent thermal stability, with good toughness and corrosion resistance between 650-1040°C.
Hastelloy C-22 exhibits superior resistance to uniform corrosion in oxidizing media compared to C-4 and C-276, and also boasts excellent resistance to localized corrosion.
Hastelloy
Excellent corrosion resistanceHASTELLOY C-276 offers excellent resistance to oxidizing and moderately reducing corrosive environments, along with superior stress corrosion resistance. HASTELLOY C-2000 high performanceTheCorrosion-resistant alloyExcellent uniform corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Enhanced version of HASTELLOY G-35 and G-30, offering superior corrosion and thermal stability. HASTELLOY G-30 high-chromium nickel-based alloy performs excellently in phosphoric acid and other strongly oxidizing mixed acid media.
HASTELLOY X offers a combination of high strength, corrosion resistance, and ease of machining. Each grade has specific chemical composition and mechanical properties, with distinct strengths, so it's not accurate to generalize about the characteristics of Hastelloy alloys.
Suitable for various chemical industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. Higher molybdenum and chromium contents make the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, with the addition of tungsten further enhancing its corrosion resistance. At the same timeC-276 Hastelloy TubeThere are only a few types that are resistant to moisture, chlorine gas, and hypochlorite.Chlorine DioxideOne of the materials corroded by the solution.Excellent corrosion resistance to high-concentration chloride salt solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride.
