Manual shut-off valve installation: Ensure the arrow on the valve is aligned with the airflow direction of the duct.
Ductwork, silencers, and other components should be cleaned thoroughly to ensure no oil stains or loose dust. Ports should be sealed when work is paused or completed.
The duct's strength should be sufficient to prevent cracking at the seams under 1.5 times the working pressure.
Installation Precautions for Ductwork and Duct Calculation: Ensure the main duct velocity is 5m/s and the branch duct velocity is 3m/s under the condition of minimizing the duct design size. The duct calculation formula is: Equipment Airflow ÷ 3600 ÷ Velocity = Duct Cross-sectional Area. Also, pay attention to ensuring the duct: Long side ÷ Short side ≤ 4; generally do not exceed 4. Special cases should be treated separately. Duct Opening Selection: Room Airflow ÷ 3600 ÷ Velocity = Diffuser throat cross-sectional area. Note: The double-baffle duct opening area is the area obtained from the above formula ÷ 0.7.
