Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sealed covers are covers made from GFRP. From a comprehensive perspective, GFRP lids hold a significant position. While they may not match some metal lids in terms of strength, their corrosion resistance is far superior to that of metal lids. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety performance are also far superior to the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear and slip resistance: Anti-slip and wear-resistant treatments are applied during manufacturing. Their slip and wear resistance far surpasses that of common metal, wooden, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent sealing performance and high safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance and wooden lids of inferior quality, the fiberglass seal cover offers superior sealing properties. Additionally, it boasts features such as non-conductive, non-conductive to heat, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High-temperature resistance and strong flame retardancy: All fiberglass products possess strong flame retardant properties, primarily due to the resin used in their manufacturing. Although there are various types of resins, high-temperature resistance is a fundamental property shared by all.
4. Excellent aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion, such as damp air being an environment of chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in damp air for a long time will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long Service Life and High Economic Benefits: Generally speaking, the service life of glass fiber reinforced plastic covers exceeds 50 years. In contrast, metal covers have a service life of about 5 years, while wooden covers have a service life of only about 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sewage covers are highly resistant to corrosion: They possess resistance to a wide range of corrosive gases and liquids such as acids, bases, organic solvents, and salts, making them highly applicable in corrosion prevention. Based on the specific requirements of the application, the GFRP sealing covers can be economically manufactured using either orthophthalic, meta-phenolic, or vinyl ester resins as the matrix material.
Two, Lightweight and High Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) grating does not exceed 2, and the GFRP cover plate is only 1/4 the thickness of steel and 2/3 that of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid PVC, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, the glass fiber reinforced plastic grating covers produced by our company are flame retardant: the flame spread rate of ordinary flame retardant grating (ASTM E-84) is no more than 25; the flame spread rate of the advanced flame retardant vinyl grating is no more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Anti-aging: Lifespan of over 50 years.
Five, our FRP sealed covers offer high safety: excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown under 10KV voltage; non-magnetic, suitable for equipment sensitive to magnetism; the unique structure of our FRP grid covers also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance properties.
