Fiberglass enclosed covers are covers made from fiberglass. From a comprehensive perspective, fiberglass lids hold a significant position. Although they may not match the strength of certain metal lids, their corrosion resistance is far superior. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety features are also much better than those of the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear and slip resistance: Anti-slip and wear-resistant treatments are applied during production. Its slip and wear resistance far exceeds that of common metal, wooden, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent sealing and high safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance or wooden lids of inferior quality, the glass fiber reinforced plastic sealing cover offers superior sealing properties. It also features non-conductive, non-conductive, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High Temperature Resistance and Flame Retardancy: All glass fiber reinforced plastic products possess strong flame retardant properties, primarily due to the resin material used in their manufacturing. Although there are various types of resins, each one, regardless of its variety, must have high temperature resistance as one of its essential properties.
4. Excellent aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion, such as humid air being an environment of chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in humid air for a long time will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long lifespan and high economic benefits: Generally, the lifespan of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) covers is over 50 years. In contrast, metal lids have a lifespan of about 5 years, while wooden lids have a lifespan of only about 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sewage covers are highly resistant to corrosion: they possess corrosion resistance to a wide range of gases and liquids, including acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, making them highly applicable in anti-corrosion fields. Depending on the specific requirements of the application, the GFRP sealing covers can economically be made with para-phenylene, meta-phenylene, or vinyl ester resins as the matrix material.
Two, Lightweight and High-Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating does not exceed 2, and the grating cover is only 1/4 the thickness of steel and 2/3 the thickness of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid PVC, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, our glass fiber reinforced plastic grating covers feature flame retardancy: the flame spread rate of standard flame retardant grating (ASTM E-84) does not exceed 25; the flame spread rate of high-grade flame retardant vinyl grating is no more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Resistance to aging: Life span of over 50 years.
Five, our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sealed covers offer high safety: excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown under 10KV voltage; non-magnetic, suitable for equipment sensitive to magnetism; the unique structure of our GFRP grating covers also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance.
