Fiberglass encapsulation covers are covers made from fiberglass. When considering comprehensively, fiberglass lids hold a significant position. Although they may not match the strength of some metal lids, their corrosion resistance is far superior to that of metal lids. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety performance are also far superior to the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear and slip resistance: Anti-slip and wear-resistant treatments are applied during production. Its slip and wear resistance far exceeds that of common metal, wooden, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent sealing performance and high safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance or wooden lids of inferior quality, glass fiber reinforced plastic sealed covers offer superior sealing. They also possess numerous features such as non-conductive, non-conductive to heat, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High-temperature resistance and strong flame retardancy: All fiberglass products possess strong flame retardant properties, primarily due to the resin used in the manufacturing process. Although there are various types of resins, high-temperature resistance is a fundamental property inherent in each type.
4. Excellent aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion, such as damp air, which is an environment of chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in damp air for a long time will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long service life and high economic benefits: Generally speaking, the service life of glass fiber reinforced plastic covers exceeds 50 years. In contrast, metal lids have a service life of about 5 years, while wooden lids last only around 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic sewage cover plates are highly resistant to corrosion: They possess corrosion resistance to a wide range of gases and liquids such as acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, making them highly applicable in corrosion prevention fields. Depending on the specific requirements of the application, glass fiber sealed covers can economically be made with either orthophthalic, meta-phenolic, or vinyl ester resins as the matrix material.
Two, Lightweight and High-Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating does not exceed 2, and the cover plate is only 1/4 the weight of steel and 2/3 the weight of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid polyvinyl chloride, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, our glass fiber reinforced plastic grating covers are flame retardant: the flame spread rate of the ordinary flame retardant grating (ASTM E-84) does not exceed 25; the flame spread rate of the high-grade flame retardant vinyl grating is no more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Resistance to aging: Service life of over 50 years.
Five, our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sealed cover offers high safety: excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown under 10KV voltage; non-magnetic, suitable for equipment sensitive to magnetism; the unique structure of our GFRP grating cover also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance properties.
