Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sealed cover is a type of cover made from GFRP. From a comprehensive perspective, GFRP lids hold a significant position. Although they may not match some metal lids in terms of strength, their corrosion resistance is far superior to that of metal lids. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety performance are also much better than the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear and slip resistance: Anti-slip and wear-resistant treatments are applied during the manufacturing process. Its slip and wear resistance far exceeds that of common metal, wooden, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent sealing performance and high safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance and wooden lids of inferior quality, the glass fiber reinforced plastic sealing cover offers superior sealing properties. It also features non-conductive, non-conductive, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High-temperature Resistance and Flame Retardancy: All glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP) products possess strong flame retardant properties, primarily due to the resin used in their manufacturing. Although there are various types of resins, high-temperature resistance is a fundamental property shared by all.
4. Superior aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion. For instance, humid air is an environment conducive to chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in humid air will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long lifespan and high economic benefits: The lifespan of glass fiber reinforced plastic covers typically exceeds 50 years. In contrast, metal lids usually last about 5 years, while wooden lids last only around 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic sewage covers are highly corrosion-resistant: They possess resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and various other gaseous and liquid media, making them highly applicable in corrosion prevention fields. Depending on the specific requirements of the application, the glass fiber sealed lids can economically be made with biphenyl, m-xylene, or vinyl ester resins as the matrix material.
Two, Lightweight and High-Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating does not exceed 2, and the grating cover is only 1/4 the weight of steel and 2/3 the weight of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid PVC, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, our glass fiber reinforced plastic grating covers are flame retardant: the flame spread rate of the ordinary flame retardant grating (ASTM E-84) does not exceed 25; the flame spread rate of the high-grade flame retardant vinyl grating is not more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Resistance to aging: Service life of over 50 years.
Five, our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sealed covers offer high safety: they possess excellent electrical insulation properties, with no breakdown under 10KV voltage; they are non-magnetic, suitable for use on equipment sensitive to magnetism; the unique structure of our GFRP grating covers also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance characteristics.
