Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) sealed cover is a type of cover made from FRP. When considering comprehensively, FRP lids hold a significant position. Although they may not match the strength of certain metal lids, their corrosion resistance is far superior. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety performance are also far better than the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear and slip resistance: Slippage and wear-resistant treatments are applied during the manufacturing process. Its slip and wear resistance significantly outperforms that of common metal, wood, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent Sealing and High Safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance and wooden lids of inferior quality, the glass fiber reinforced plastic sealing cover boasts good sealing properties. It also features non-conductive, non-heat conducting, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High Heat Resistance & Flame Retardant: All fiberglass products exhibit strong flame retardant properties, primarily due to the resin used in their manufacturing. Although there are various types of resins, heat resistance is a fundamental property inherent in each.
4. Excellent aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion. For instance, humid air is an environment that causes chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in humid air will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long Service Life and High Economic Returns: Generally speaking, the service life of glass fiber reinforced plastic sealed covers exceeds 50 years. In contrast, metal covers have a lifespan of about 5 years, while wooden covers only last for about 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sewage cover plates are highly corrosion-resistant: featuring resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, among various gas and liquid media. They have a high application rate in corrosion prevention fields. Depending on the specific usage requirements, the GFRP sealing shields can economically be chosen to use either orthophthalic, meta-phenolic, or vinyl ester resins as the matrix material.
Two, Lightweight and High-Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating does not exceed 2, and the grating cover is only 1/4 the thickness of steel and 2/3 the thickness of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid PVC, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, our glass fiber reinforced plastic grid covers feature flame retardancy: the flame spread rate of the standard flame retardant grid (ASTM E-84) is no more than 25; the flame spread rate of the high-grade flame retardant vinyl grid is no more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Aging Resistance: Service life of over 50 years.
Five, our fiberglass sealed covers offer high safety: they possess excellent electrical insulation, with no breakdown at 10KV voltage; they are non-magnetic, suitable for use on equipment sensitive to magnetism; the unique structure of our fiberglass grating covers also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance properties.
