Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) sealing cover is a type of cover made from FRP. From a comprehensive perspective, FRP lids hold a significant position. Although they may not match the strength of certain metal lids, their corrosion resistance is far superior. In terms of load-bearing capacity, they outperform wooden and plastic lids, and their design flexibility and safety features are also far superior to the aforementioned lids.
Performance:
1. Outstanding wear-resistant and non-slip performance: Anti-slip and wear-resistant treatments are applied during production. Their non-slip and wear-resistant capabilities far exceed those of common metal, wood, and plastic lids.
2. Excellent Sealing and High Safety: Compared to metal lids with poor corrosion resistance and wooden lids with substandard materials, the glass fiber reinforced plastic sealing cover boasts good sealing properties. It also features non-conductive, non-heat conductive, and high corrosion resistance.
3. High-Temperature Resistance and Flame Retardancy: All fiberglass products boast strong flame retardancy, primarily due to the resin used in their manufacturing. While there are various types of resins, each one must have high-temperature resistance as one of its essential properties.
4. Superior aging and corrosion resistance: Aging is a form of corrosion, more accurately described as chronic corrosion, such as humid air, which is an environment of chronic corrosion. Metal lids left in humid air for extended periods will gradually corrode, commonly known as rusting.
5. Long lifespan and high economic benefits: Generally, the lifespan of glass fiber reinforced plastic covers exceeds 50 years. In contrast, metal lids have a lifespan of about 5 years, while wooden lids last only around 3 years.
Features:
One. Our glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) sewage covers are highly resistant to corrosion: They possess resistance to a variety of corrosive gases and liquids such as acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, making them widely applicable in corrosion control. Depending on the specific requirements of the application, the GRP sealing covers can be economically produced using para-phenyl, meta-phenyl, or vinyl resins as the base material.
Two, Lightweight and High-Strength: The density of glass fiber reinforced plastic grating does not exceed 2, and the grating cover plate is only 1/4 the thickness of steel and 2/3 the thickness of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of rigid PVC, and greater than that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
Three, our glass fiber reinforced plastic grid covers feature flame retardancy: the flame spread rate of standard flame retardant grids (ASTM E-84) is no more than 25; the flame spread rate of high-grade flame retardant vinyl grids is no more than 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB 8924).
Four: Resistance to aging: Service life of over 50 years.
Five, our FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) sealed covers offer high safety: excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown at 10KV voltage; non-magnetic, suitable for equipment sensitive to magnetism; the special structure of our FRP grid covers also features anti-slip and fatigue resistance properties.
