Standard dimension of putting green artificial turf, a standard putting green size is 20m x 15m. Regarding the restricted area, the Chinese Putting Green Association revised new competition rules in 2006, which also amended the size of the restricted area within the putting green. Under the old rules, the restricted line was one meter outside the competition line, parallel to it. The revised rules now require the restricted line to be 50cm to 1 meter outside the competition line, parallel to it. Additionally, the new rules specify that the field dimensions, line width and color, and the distance between the competition and restricted lines are determined by the competition organizing committee. Construction of artificial turf putting greens is generally handled by manufacturers, who design the schemes. Currently, putting greens often use artificial turf for laying, and the restricted area is usually green with red or solid red.
