H0FR Cable
Cable Structure:
Conductor Material: Tin-plated copper/standard copper, Category 6 as per BS6360 standard, with Category 5 conductors for 120 mm2 and above.
Isolation Strip: Crepe Paper/Polyester Tape
Insulating Materials: Acid and alkali-resistant blend, Ethylene Propylene Rubber (E.P.R.) insulation
Housing Material: Acid and alkali-resistant blend, Chloroprene (C.S.P.) (heat-resistant and flame-retardant)
Sheath Color: Black, Grey, Yellow (Tinned Copper Conductor), Black (Standard Copper Conductor)
The structure above can be used to create soft aluminum conductors.
Application:
These cables are designed for high flexibility and are primarily used for secondary connections of automatic or hand-held arc welder electrodes. They can also be used in non-welding equipment, such as grounding circuit conductors, flexible trailing cables for power transmission, and busbar connection devices.
Technical Specifications:
Rated Voltage: 100V (in environments where mechanical damage is not tolerable); such cables can operate at 450/700V in control panels and switchgear.
Rated Temperature: -20 to +85°C
Bend Radius: 6 times cable diameter
Rated Parameters:
Here are the rated current values based on an ambient temperature of 25°C; the corresponding rated factors at higher temperatures (as a ratio to the values at 25°C) are as follows:
Ambient Temperature (°C) | 30 | 35 | 40 | 45 |
Rated Factor: | 0.96 | 0.91 | 0.87 | 0.82 |
If the total length of cable to be installed exceeds 15 meters, it is necessary to choose a cable with a larger cross-sectional area to ensure that the voltage drop is not excessive, thereby maintaining a sufficiently high welding current level.
Cycle Value:
The cycle value size represents the percentage of the entire cycle (5 minutes). The duration of time in a welding operation is continuously changing. Therefore, the cycle value varies between 20% (interrupted or occasional positioning welding) to 100% (automatic welding).
Automated positioning welding up to 100 %.
Semi-automatic positioning welding 30-85%.
Manual positioning welding 30-60%.
Intermittent or occasional positioning welding up to 20%.
