As the development of our province's highway construction, higher requirements have been put forward for the appearance quality of bridges, particularly the appearance of pillars. In conjunction with the supervision practice of the He-Huai-Fu Highway, this paper analyzes the factors affecting the appearance of pillars and discusses how to effectively control the appearance quality of pillars during construction.
In the column-free formwork construction technique, steel bars are processed in a centralized modular manner, which effectively reduces the impact of adverse weather and optimizes the use of raw materials, thus offering shorter construction cycles and higher efficiency. Piers are a critical component of bridges, with their appearance design and quality management significantly influencing the overall stability of the structure. The article discusses the column-free construction methods, highlighting the energy-saving and emission-reduction, cost-effectiveness, and lifespan extension benefits of this technique. This paper delves into the quality control technology for the appearance of bridge piers, for reference only.
