Roll rings are the sections between or outside the grooves on the rolling ring body of section rolling rolls. The end roll rings at both ends of the roll body prevent iron oxide scale from falling into the bearings; the intermediate roll rings between adjacent holes are mainly used to separate the hole shapes and bear lateral pressure. The basic parameters of roll rings are the roll ring height and width. The roll ring height is the depth of the groove. When determining the width of the intermediate roll ring, the main considerations are the strength of the roll ring and the ease of installation and adjustment of the guide guard device.
