Roll rings are parts located between the rolling grooves or outside the rolling grooves on the roller body of profile rolling rolls. The end roll rings at both ends of the roller body prevent iron oxide scales from falling into the bearings; the intermediate roll rings between adjacent holes are mainly used to separate the hole shapes and withstand lateral pressure. The basic parameters of roll rings are the roll ring height and width. The roll ring height is equivalent to the depth of the rolling groove. When determining the width of the intermediate roll ring, the main considerations are the strength of the roll ring and the convenience of installation and adjustment of the guide device.
