Selection of wire clamps
CWire clampMainly used for T-connection or jumper in non load bearing positions of 20kV overhead insulated wires, aluminum stranded wires, steel core aluminum stranded wires, steel stranded wires, and copper wires in overhead distribution lines. The wire clamp is made of high-strength special aluminum alloy with good conductivity, and the structure adopts a reasonable C-type. When the wire undergoes thermal expansion and contraction, the elasticity of the C-shaped structure ensures a constant and long-lasting contact pressure between the wire clamp and the wire. It remains constant in contact pressure with changes in external environment and load conditions, meeting the requirements for continuous connection.
■ Structural features:
1.Contact performance: The contact surface between the wire clamp and the wire is large, the clamping force is constant, and the DC resistance ratio is between 0.85 and 0.9;
2. Overload capacity: The overload capacity reaches more than twice the rated current;
