A sand dredging vessel is a combined dredging and selection unit constructed on an engineering flat-bottomed barge and floating on the water surface, typically including equipment for excavation, buffering, conveying, as well as power generation, power supply, propulsion, and positioning. The vessel is designed and manufactured based on the customer's sand extraction requirements, featuring a steel-welded full structure and a modular chain bucket dredging vessel, as well as a modular, fully-steel-welded bucket dredging vessel. The working principle and process of the dredging and selection: Sand is extracted using a chain bucket dredging vessel, the extracted raw sand is buffered through a screening process, then conveyed to the conveyor belt via sand and stone hoppers, transporting the economic material to the belt conveyor sand transport vessel.

The working principle of a chain bucket dredger：

Lower the end of the sand-dredging bridge into the water to a certain depth, allowing it to contact the dredging soil layer. Then, under the drive of the upper guide wheel, the bucket chain operates continuously, moving the buckets on the chain to scoop up mud, load it, and lift it out of the water with the rotation of the chain, transferring it to the top of the main frame. After passing through the upper guide wheel to change direction, the mud and sand in the buckets fall into the sand chute of the tower under their own gravity. They then enter the roller separator for screening (a shower pipe is added to the roller separator during the screening process to wash the material inside, which can clean the mud in the sand and rinse the sand on the cobblestones), resulting in two materials: 1. Sand, 2. River cobblestones. The cleaned cobblestones are sent to the stone conveyor belt, transported by it, and loaded onto the cobblestone transport ship. The sand, after being screened by the roller separator, is poured into a spiral sand washing machine. The sand is mixed, washed, and dehydrated in the spiral sand washing machine before being transported to the sand transport ship. The sand-dredging ship's sand collection, separation, cleaning, and conveying operations are then completed.
