Boiler softening water equipment is a pre-treatment device for raw water to prevent scaling, specifically designed to remove calcium and magnesium ions from the raw water. This prevents scaling inside the boiler, enhancing the efficiency of heat exchange and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the boiler. Failure to treat or improperly treat boiler make-up water can lead to scaling on the heating surfaces, reducing the heat transfer performance of the furnace walls, increasing fuel consumption, and may cause corrosion, pipe bursts, or even accidents. The widespread use of boiler softening equipment is crucial for ensuring the safe and economic operation of boilers, improving their efficiency, extending their service life, and conserving energy.
Boiler softening water equipment can be categorized into steam boiler softeners and hot water boiler softeners, depending on the type of boiler used.

Boiler Softening Water Equipment Process Features
1. The water softener is equipped with full automatic control, and after being fine-tuned by an experienced water treatment engineer, it significantly reduces equipment operation failures caused by human error. Simply add salt to the brine tank periodically to maintain stable operation of the unit.
2. Dual-tank operation with one tank for regeneration and the other in standby, catering to diverse customer environmental requirements. This significantly enhances the utilization of equipment and resin, while reducing investment costs.
3. Utilizing our company's multi-valve controller, we achieve modular control of the equipment. This significantly simplifies the control program of the control system. Moreover, the settings and operation of the controller basically enable "dumb" operation of the equipment.
4. The control valves are equipped with our company's pneumatic/liquid actuated diaphragm valves, which offer stable performance and a long service life. This significantly reduces circuit failures caused by electric valves.
5. The salt system utilizes automatic salt intake, automated salt valve technology, which simplifies the operation and reduces the running costs of the salt system.
The selection of water softening equipment primarily depends on the water demand, the original water hardness, and the applicable scenario.
1. There are various models of equipment with the same water output capacity, which can be selected based on actual water usage.
2. Raw Water Hardness
When the raw water hardness is ≤3 mmol/L, the time control type can be selected, based on the equipment's water output.
When the raw water hardness is ≤6 mmol/L, select the model based on the water production capacity of the equipment listed in the table.
When the raw water hardness is ≤8 mmol/L, select the model based on the average water production capacity of the equipment.
Raw water hardness: 9-10 mmol/L. Should be calculated based on the equipment's water production capacity, or use a multi-stage system or high-hardness softening.
Raw water hardness ≥ 10 mmol/L requires multi-stage treatment; typically, two stages or high-hardness softening will meet the requirements.
