Direct venting can cause excessive pressure difference between the intake and exhaust ports of the pump, leading to overload. Increasing the motor power of the pump could result in overheating, causing the slight gaps between the rotors to quickly seize due to thermal contraction. To ensure the pump can achieve high vacuum levels, it is crucial to maintain the gap between the rotors. Therefore, when using a rotary vane vacuum pump, it is essential to have a preliminary pump. Use the preliminary pump to reduce the internal pressure to a certain level before starting the rotary vane vacuum pump, which can prevent overload.
