Soft fiber filler is a biological carrier for treating wastewater by biological contact oxidation and anaerobic fermentation methods. It boasts large specific surface area, high utilization rate, variable porosity without clogging, strong adaptability, stable performance under shock load, low sludge production, easy management, low cost, and low operating expenses, as well as convenient assembly. This filler is made primarily from aldehyde fiber, processed to mimic the shape of natural aquatic plants.

The composite filler is developed based on soft and semi-soft fillers, combining the advantages of both. Its structure involves changing the plastic disk buckle into a double-loop large plastic ring, with formaldehyde-fiber or polyester filaments pressed onto the ring's rim for even distribution of the fiber bundle. The inner ring consists of snowflake-shaped plastic branches, which can both hang the film and effectively cut bubbles, enhancing the oxygen transfer rate and utilization. This allows for full exchange of the water-gas biofilm, treating organic matter in the water.
