(1) RPM issues
In the centrifugalSifterThe material spreader for the centrifugal classifier features a coaxial design with grading small fan blades and fine powder collection large fan blades. In a cyclone classifier, the material spreader is coaxial with the grading fan blades or grading rotor. Due to the coaxial structure, only one speed can be achieved during operation. However, both the centrifugal large and small fan blades and the cyclone grading mechanism have different optimal speeds. Generally, the classifier's speed is adjusted based on the grading rotor's speed requirements, disregarding the actual spreading situation of the spreader. Although product design considers the uniformity between the spreader and the grading system, each user adjusts the speed based on different product fineness requirements and actual operating conditions. This means the same structure can have different speeds in various scenarios, making it difficult to find an appropriate rotational speed for the spreader in most cases. This is the main drawback of the flat material spreader, which cannot be overcome by altering the spreader's structure or other operating parameters.

There are two phenomena that arise from this:
One issue is insufficient rotation speed, which prevents the material from being fully dispersed, resulting in a situation where there are excessive dense clusters of material on one side and gaps in the material curtain on the other, as it cannot cover the entire cross-section. This will affect the carrying effect of the fine powder.
In another scenario, the speed is too high, which causes the powdered material to be scattered excessively, impacting the drum walls and forming dense material clusters with larger voids.
(2) Raw Material Issues
These lower spreading devices all utilize a single-point upper feeding method. As the powdered material enters at a single point, it falls onto the spreading pan at a predetermined location, leading to unbalanced loading of the spreading pan's rotor. More severely, due to the single-point dropping, the spreading pan cannot uniformly scatter across its entire circumference. In other words, there will be a sector-shaped void in the circular cross-section where materials can be applied, causing air to flow through without material curtain filtration, resulting in waste.
Due to the above rotational speed factors and the reason of single-point feeding, the actual application of this spreading method results in the presence of voids to varying degrees across the fabric cross-section.
