Installation Method for High-Energy Ignition Rods

The igniter rod is a crucial component of high-energy igniters, which are primarily used in two scenarios: industrial furnace burners and flare stack ignition. Below, we discuss the installation of igniter rods in these two aspects.

Burner Installation: Drill a hole with a diameter of Ф16.5 on the burner and machine an M18x1.5 installation thread at the hole opening. Simply screw the ignition rod in place. This ignition rod features a new structure and does not require adjustment of the sparking distance. The ignition rod is designed for long-term temperature resistance up to 1300°C. The ignition end of the rod is installed 20~30mm in front of the burner nozzle. For gas burners, use a smaller distance, and for oil burners, use a larger distance.

Flame Torch Installation: Secure the ignition rod with a specialized pipe clamp on the torch head, with the firing end of the ignition rod elevated 100-150mm above the torch head.
