Mechanical缠绕 fiberglass pipes are lightweight, corrosion-resistant non-metallic piping. They are made by a special process with a resin matrix and glass fiber as the reinforcing material. These pipes offer corrosion resistance, leakage prevention, insulation properties, and more, including lightweight, long lifespan, high design flexibility, low fluid resistance, easy installation, and low overall cost. They are widely used in the oil, chemical, power, papermaking, urban water supply and drainage, industrial wastewater treatment, gas transmission, and mining industries, making them an ideal pipeline for transporting liquids and gases. In recent years, the production of fiberglass pipes in our country has developed rapidly, with the quantity increasing year by year and the scope of application and departments expanding.

Four, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Sand Lined Pipes - These fiber-wound FRP sand lined pipes are reliable and mainly used for buried pipelines and long-distance transmission lines. They feature lightweight, corrosion resistance, long service life, low operation and maintenance costs, and can save a substantial amount of funds for construction projects.

5. Features 1. Lightweight: The specific gravity of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sand-filled pipes ranges from 1.65 to 2.0. For the same diameter, the weight per unit length is only 1/3 of carbon steel, 1/5 of FRP pipes compared to cast iron pipes, and 1/10 of prestressed concrete pipes. This reduces hoisting costs and increases installation speed during construction. 2. Excellent hydraulic properties: This characteristic is particularly prominent in water supply and drainage applications, with good hydraulic properties. (1) Saves pumping costs for the pipeline network. (2) Reduces pipe diameter size. (3) Shortens pumping time. (4) FRP pipes do not scale over time, eliminating the need for cleaning and preventing secondary water contamination. 3. Good resistance to water and corrosion: GFRP sand-filled pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, reducing anti-corrosion costs and extending service life. Additionally, due to their non-ferrous nature, they prevent secondary water contamination. They are also suitable for transporting wastewater, sludge, seawater, and other media. 4. Pressure resistance: Designed and manufactured according to process requirements, with hydrostatic testing conducted at 1.5 times the process pressure. 5. Good sealability at interfaces, no leakage, no破裂, enhancing water supply reliability.

Section 7: Main Molding Process The inner lining is manufactured on mandrels with computer control, following the same process as fiber-wrapped glass steel pipes. After gelation, the structural layer is wrapped according to the designed shape and thickness. Quartz sand and resin mixed mortar is wrapped within the structural layer, and an outer protective layer is wrapped around.

Characteristics of Glass-Fiber Reinforced Sand-Lined Pipelines: 1. Strong Corrosion Resistance: Glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipelines are resistant to acids, alkalis, soil erosion, and can transport groundwater, seawater, industrial wastewater, and highly corrosive liquids. Special pipelines made from corrosion-resistant materials for specific transport mediums maintain all the features of the original glass-fiber products (lightweight, corrosion-resistant, insulating, heat-insulating, and design-friendly). 2. Good Abrasion Resistance: The pipelines have excellent abrasion resistance, as demonstrated by tests where a slurry containing a large amount of silt and stones is circulated through pipes made of different materials for 10,000 rotations. 3. Heat Resistance, Anti-Freeze, and Strong Temperature Adaptability: Glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipelines can operate normally at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 80℃. Pipelines with special resin ratios can work at temperatures as high as 110℃, and they do not crack under frozen mediums. 4. Low Fluid Friction: The inner surface of glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipelines is smooth with low resistance, a roughness coefficient of 0.0084, and a friction coefficient about half that of steel pipes and one-fourth that of cement pipes. This results in minimal fluid pressure loss, allowing for larger flow rates through smaller diameters. Generally, sand-lined pipelines are one grade lower in diameter selection than cast iron or cement pipes. Using pipes of the same inner diameter can save 1/3 of the pump power and energy. 5. High Mechanical Strength: The pipelines have excellent water pressure resistance, external pressure resistance, and impact resistance, meeting the requirements for burial under different geological conditions. They can also be designed and manufactured according to customer-specified pressure requirements. 6. Lightweight and Easy to Install: The pipelines are lightweight, being one-fourth the weight of steel pipes and one-tenth that of cement pipes. They are easy to handle and install, with installation costs being low. The pipeline lengths can reach up to 12 meters, requiring fewer joints, and no complex welding is needed.
