One, Overview: Mechanical winding glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) pipes are lightweight, corrosion-resistant non-metallic pipelines. They are made by using resin as the matrix and glass fibers as reinforcing materials through special processes. These pipes offer advantages such as corrosion resistance, leakage prevention, insulation properties, lightweight, long service life, high design flexibility, low fluid resistance, easy installation, and low overall cost. They are widely used in the oil, chemical, power, papermaking, urban water supply and drainage, industrial wastewater treatment, gas transmission, and mining industries, making them ideal for transporting liquids and gases. In recent years, the production of GFRP pipes in China has developed rapidly, with the quantity increasing year by year and the scope of application and departments expanding.

Four, Fiber-Wrapped Glass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Sand Lined Pipes - These FRP sand lined pipes offer reliability and are primarily used for buried pipelines and long-distance transmission lines. They feature lightweight, corrosion-resistant, long service life, and low operation and maintenance costs, which can save a significant amount of funds for construction projects.

5. Features 1. Lightweight: The specific gravity of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sand pipes is 1.65~2.0. For units of the same diameter, the weight per unit length is only 1/3 of carbon steel, 1/5 of FRP pipes compared to cast iron pipes, and 1/10 of prestressed concrete pipes. This reduces hoisting costs and improves installation speed during construction. 2. Excellent hydraulic characteristics: This feature is particularly prominent in water supply and drainage applications, with good hydraulic properties. (1) Saves pump transportation costs. (2) Reduces pipe diameter size. (3) Shortens pump transportation time. (4) FRP pipes do not scale over time, eliminating the need for cleaning and preventing secondary water pollution. 3. Good resistance to water and corrosion: GFRP sand pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, reducing anti-corrosion costs and extending service life; they also prevent rust, ensuring water quality is not contaminated. They can also be used for transporting wastewater, sludge, seawater, and other media. 4. Pressure resistance: Designed and manufactured pipes and fittings according to process requirements, with hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times the process pressure. 5. Good interface sealing, no leakage, no breakage, enhancing water supply reliability.

Section 7: Main Molding Process The inner lining is manufactured on mandrels with computer control, following the same process as fiber-wrapped glass steel pipes. After gelation, the structural layer is wrapped according to the designed line type and thickness, and a mortar mixed with quartz sand and resin is wrapped within the structural layer, followed by wrapping the outer protective layer.

Strong Corrosion Resistance - Glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipes are resistant to acids, alkalis, soil erosion, and can transport groundwater, seawater, industrial wastewater, and highly corrosive liquids. Special pipes made from corrosion-resistant materials for specific media maintain all the characteristics of the original glass-fiber product (lightweight, corrosion-resistant, insulating, heat-resistant, and design-friendly). 2. Good Abrasion Resistance - These pipes exhibit excellent abrasion resistance. Tests show that water slurry containing a high amount of silt and stones can be circulated through pipes made of different materials for 10,000 rotations. 3. Heat Resistance, Frost Resistance, and Strong Temperature Adaptability - Glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipes can operate normally at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 80℃. Pipes with special resin ratios can work at temperatures up to 110℃, and they do not crack under frozen media. 4. Low Fluid Resistance - The inner surface of glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipes is smooth, with low resistance. The roughness coefficient is 0.0084, and the resistance coefficient is about half that of steel pipes and one-fourth that of cement pipes. This results in minimal fluid pressure loss, allowing for the transport of larger volumes with smaller diameters. Typically, sand-lined pipes are one grade smaller in diameter than cast iron or cement pipes. Using pipes of the same inner diameter can save 1/3 of the pump power and energy. 5. High Mechanical Strength - These pipes have excellent water pressure resistance, external pressure resistance, and impact resistance, meeting the requirements for burial under various geological conditions. They can be designed and manufactured according to customer-specified pressure requirements. 6. Lightweight and Easy to Install - Glass-fiber reinforced sand-lined pipes are lightweight, being one-fourth the weight of steel pipes and one-tenth the weight of cement pipes. They are easy to handle and install, with installation costs being low. The pipe lengths can reach 12 meters, reducing the number of joints and the need for complex welding.
