Mechanical缠绕 fiberglass piping is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant non-metallic pipeline. It is made by a resin matrix reinforced with glass fibers through a special process. This type of pipeline boasts corrosion resistance, leakage prevention, insulation properties, and more, such as being lightweight, long-lasting, highly customizable, low fluid resistance, easy to install, and cost-effective. It is widely used in industries such as oil, chemical, power, papermaking, urban water supply and drainage, factory wastewater treatment, gas transmission, and mining, making it an ideal pipeline for transporting liquids and gases. In recent years, the production of fiberglass piping in our country has developed rapidly, with quantities increasing year by year, and its application scope and departments expanding as well.

Four. Reinforced Plastic Sand-Lined Pipes - The fiber-wound reinforced plastic sand-lined pipes are reliable and primarily used for buried pipelines and long-distance transmission lines. Five, Features: 1. Lightweight: The specific gravity of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) sand pipes ranges from 1.65 to 2.0. For the same diameter, the unit length weight is only 1/3 of carbon steel, 1/5 of FRP pipes compared to cast iron pipes, and 1/10 of prestressed concrete pipes, which reduces hoisting costs and improves installation speed during construction. 2. Excellent hydraulic properties: This feature is particularly prominent in water supply and drainage applications, with good hydraulic characteristics. (1) Saves pump delivery costs. (2) Reduces pipe diameter size. (3) Shortens pump delivery time. (4) FRP pipes do not scale over time, eliminating the need for cleaning and preventing secondary water pollution. 3. Good resistance to water and corrosion: GFRP sand pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, reducing anti-corrosion costs and extending service life; plus, due to non-corrosion, the water quality remains free from secondary pollution. They can also be used for transporting sewage, sludge, seawater, and other media. 4. Pressure resistance: Designed and manufactured pipes and fittings according to process requirements, and tested at 1.5 times the process pressure. 5. Good interface sealing, no leakage, no breakage, enhancing water supply reliability.

Section 7: Main Molding Process The inner lining is manufactured on mandrels with computer control, following the same process as the fiber-wound glass steel pipes, and then the gel is wrapped around to form the designed line patterns and thicknesses of the structural layers. Quartz sand and resin mixed mortar is wrapped within the structural layers, and an external protective layer is wrapped around.

Characteristics of Glass-Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Sanded Pipe: 1. High Corrosion Resistance: GFRP sanded pipes are resistant to acids, alkalis, soil erosion, and can transport groundwater, seawater, industrial wastewater, and highly corrosive liquids. Special pipes made from corrosion-resistant materials are also available based on the medium being transported, while maintaining all the original characteristics of the GFRP product (lightweight, corrosion-resistant, insulated, heat-insulating, and designable). 2. Good Abrasion Resistance: GFRP sanded pipes exhibit excellent abrasion resistance, as tested by filling pipes with a slurry containing a high concentration of silt and stones, rotating them for 10,000 cycles. 3. Heat and Cold Resistance, Strong Temperature Adaptability: GFRP sanded pipes can operate normally at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 80℃. Special resin pipes can operate at temperatures as high as 110℃, without cracking under frozen medium. 4. Low Fluid Friction: The inner surface of GFRP sanded pipes is smooth, resulting in low resistance with a roughness coefficient of 0.0084, approximately half that of steel pipes and one-fourth that of cement pipes. This ensures low head loss and allows for larger flow rates with smaller diameters. Typically, sanded pipes are one grade lower in diameter selection than cast iron or cement pipes. Using pipes with the same inner diameter can save up to one-third of the pump power and energy. 5. High Mechanical Strength: GFRP sanded pipes have excellent pressure resistance, impact resistance, and can meet the requirements for burial in different geological conditions. Pipes and fittings can be designed and manufactured according to customer-specified pressure requirements. 6. Lightweight and Easy to Install: GFRP sanded pipes are lightweight, weighing only one-fourth of steel pipes and one-tenth of cement pipes. They are easy to handle and install, with installation costs low. Sanded pipes can be up to 12 meters in length, requiring fewer joints, and no complex welding is needed for installation.
