What is Anti-Flashover Coating?

Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber, abbreviated as RTV anti-fouling flash coating, has experienced rapid development and widespread application in China in recent years, thanks to its outstanding features such as long-lasting performance and maintenance-free operation as a new technology and material. 

In China, the RTV coating has gone through a development process from multi-component, two-component, to single-component formulations. After years of operation, single-component RTV long-lasting anti-fouling flash coatings and ultra-long-lasting anti-fouling flash coatings are primarily used on transmission and transformation equipment at voltage levels below 750KV, including suspended insulators (porcelain and glass),支柱绝缘子, switches, gates, lightning arresters, transformers, coupling capacitors, and wall-through bushings, as well as on various porcelain components of indoor substation equipment in humid areas. 

RTV anti-fouling flash coating is a type of electrical coating commonly used in power systems or high-voltage lines.
