Silicone rubber long-lasting anti-fouling flash paint, also known as room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone or PRTV anti-fouling flash paint, is a coating specifically designed for anti-fouling flash work on insulators in power systems or external insulation of electrical equipment. Among them, PRTV anti-fouling flash paint, also referred to as long-lasting anti-fouling flash paint, boasts superior performance indicators compared to RTV anti-fouling flash paint, including hydrophobicity, electrical properties, and physical and mechanical properties.

Key characteristics of the long-lasting anti-fouling and anti-flashover silicone rubber coating include:

During construction, avoid operations under conditions of fog, condensation, precipitation, snowfall, and other humid weather, as well as windblown sand. The construction temperature should be maintained above -20℃. Before construction, the insulator surface should be cleaned thoroughly and kept dry. For greasy substances that affect the adhesion of the coating, use an appropriate cleaning agent or procedure. The recoating of failed coatings should be determined based on the adhesion of the coating. Ensure that the recoating is even, smooth, without accumulation, dripping, bubbles, streaks, defects, or missed spots.
