I. Basic Introduction


The design velocity range of the first-class light gas gun is 50-150 m/s. The first-class light gas gun is an experimental cannon that directly uses low-molecular-weight gases (helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, gunpowder, air) in a compressed state as a power source to accelerate the bullet in the barrel and achieve high velocity at the muzzle.


Several key design parameters of the first-class light gas gun include caliber, barrel length, speed range, maximum working pressure of the driving gas, and the volume of the firing chamber. It is mainly composed of parts such as the firing chamber, firing mechanism, barrel, target box, and measurement and control system.
